Scooby Doo - The Blue Scarab

My reimagining of The Blue Scarab from Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo. He was a comicbook character come to life in the show and here, he's more of a mystical Egyptian creature.

In 30 BC, Patah was the lead bodyguard to Cleopatra. He lived to serve her and would lay down his life for his queen. When the Roman Empire's armies came to take it over and it seemed like the Egyptian empire would fall, Cleopatra had her sorcerers craft her bodyguard into an unstoppable weapon of revenge. He would become a creature resembling a mystic scarab and would kill all those who led to his queen's fall. Patah's transformation took days and when it was finished, he was left in a weakened state. Roman forces broke through the sacred temple and killed everyone but Cleopatra. The Scarab finally regained his strength and started killing Roman soldiers with no mercy. Their swords and spears could not harm the Scarab and the survivors finally got away by caving in the room, finally stopping the scarab who had no way of escaping. 2,047 years later, archeologists discovered the long lost temple and incidentally awoke the scarab. The creature killed the archeologists and escaped, flying around Egypt in search of his queen. When it discovered how much time as passed, the Scarab is now searching for his queen's tomb in hopes of finding her and resurrecting her so she can rule this new world. Mystery Inc (a Men in Black organization here) sends Scooby and the Gang to Egypt to stop the Scarab and prevent Cleopatra's return which would spell trouble for Egypt and the entire world.
