Young Justice - Red X

After Jason Todd was kidnapped and killed by the Joker, his death was a short lived one, as Ra's Al Ghul used one of his Lazarus Pits to resurrect Jason and atone for the part he played in the young man's death. Jason came back but his madness caused by the Pit made him flee and disappear into the unknown. After calming down, Jason found out that he was replaced by the current Robin, Tim Drake, and that Batman had let Joker live even after killing Jason. He felt that he'd been crossed out or "x"ed out of existence and decided to come up with a new identity to him to take down criminals and even heroes that oppose him. Jason thought of taking the mantle of Red Hood, in an ironic way of getting back at Joker who was the first to become that identity. But Jason would save that for another time and become a different type of red. A Red X.
