Thor and Torunn

The New King of Asgard and his daughter, the Goddess of Thunder. 

When the apocalyptic event, Ragnarok occurred in Asgard, with the demon Surter being the main cause of it, world ending disasters occurred in all the nine realms. While the heroes of Midgard were busy dealing with chaos of earthquakes and darkness on Earth, Thor had to join his father and allies in Asgard to fight off the coming forces that sought Odin's death and the end of everything. For an entire week, all Asgardians fought to protect their kingdom and by the end of it, many were dead and Asgard was in ruins. With no other way to save his people, Odin used all of his power and sacrificed himself to end his enemies. The war was over and Asgard was barely standing after all the destruction, Thor had to step up and become the new king of Asgard and take his fathers role as bearer of the Odin Force as well as needing to go through the Odinsleep to replenish his power. With Thor not being able to go to earth like he used to, he picked a mortal to wield his power and take the name of one of Asgard's greatest warriors, Valkyrie, this chosen person would end up being Jane Foster.

Years later, Thor and his queen Sif had a daughter who was named Torunn and she would grow to become a skillful warrior like her parents. Though with her father as the king, Thor never let Torunn out of the kingdom to fight alongside other warriors and defend their kingdom. So Torunn sought to prove herself by taking on the same trials her father went through when he was banished, defend Midgard from the dangers that could destroy it. So when Thor went into the Odinsleep, Torunn stole Surtur's Sword of Twilight, Elderstahl, which was the only thing remaining of the demon, from her father's armory to find a way to earth without Heimdall's help. Using the sword, Torunn cut open a rift that led her straight to New York and in the middle of fight between the Avengers and Hydra mechs. The perfect opportunity to show everyone what she was made of.
